NERC Meter Asset Provider (MAP) licence
Arotob Global Services holds a Meter Asset Provider licence issued by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission. This is the approval required to supply, own and manage meters within the Nigerian electricity distribution system. It means we can own the metering infrastructure on behalf of a distribution company and operate it as a managed service, not merely sell hardware.
EKSERB licensed operator
We are licensed by the Ekiti State Electricity Regulatory Bureau (EKSERB), reflecting our established operational presence in Ekiti State and our compliance with state-level electricity regulation.

All meters supplied by Arotob meet IEC 62052-11 and IEC 62053 accuracy and safety standards, and carry CE certification. Type test reports and CNAS-accredited laboratory certifications are available on request for procurement and regulatory review.
STS-certified token technology
Arotob meters use the Standard Transfer Specification (STS), the globally recognised open standard for prepaid electricity tokens. Tokens generated through our vending platform are secure, cannot be replicated, and work with any STS-compliant vending system, protecting both the operator and the end consumer.
Active field deployments
Our credentials are not only regulatory. We have meters in active service, a vending operation running and remote monitoring in operation. We are a working metering provider, not a reseller with a catalogue.
